In order to get a fast and versatile signal processing and image acquisition, we offer our BSD System including the electrical and mechanical components to provide an easy and user friendly installation into your SEM. Different configurations of main amplifiers for faster signal processing are available as well as the retraction mechanism to provide an easy movement of the detector without any extra effort.

PNDetector´s BSD Slim System including Advanced BSD detector, Retractable Arm V2 and Main Amplifier MA-PN4. The system in the „Slim version“ is suited for SEMs with less than 4 inputs available.
PNDetector´s BSD “Regular” System including Advanced BSD detector, Retractable Arm V2 and Main Amplifier MA-PN44. The "Regular Version" system includes four separate output signals that can be routed into the SEM.

The Retractable Arm can be easily moved into the SEM/TEM chamber through the microscope flange.

Advanced BSD Module for BSD System
The Advanced BSD equipped with integrated 4-Channel Preamplifier with different chip geometries enables ultrafast imaging beyond TV-Speed with scan rates up to 100 MHz and low signal capacitance. Our Advanced BSD is the best choice for easy plug and play installations and high throughput.
Main Amplifier for BSE Detectors in SEM
PNDetector’s 4-Channel Main Amplifier with integrated supply voltage unit for individual channels gain-/brightness control. Typical scan rates up to 38 MHz.
Retractable Arm
PNDetector’s Retractable Arm with precise X-Y-Z positioning of less than 20 μm provides very easy mechanical and electrical integration into any SEM/TEM system. It is compatible to all types of our Advanced BSE/STEM detectors.
