Data Analysis with Digital Pulse Processor
Data Analysis with Digital Pulse Processor DPP 110
The digital pulse processor (DPP 110) completes the SDD XRF detector systems to an advanced X-ray spectrometer system for scientific and industrial applications.
The scheme to the right shows a typical XRF measuring setup with DPP data acquisition. The analog signal of the XRF detector from a measuring environment is fed into the DPP which processes the signals and generates the digital spectrum on a control PC. By synchronizing the measurement environment (SEM or XRF system) with the DPP via a trigger signal, advanced acquisition modes such as mapping mode or triggered LIST mode can be easily implemented.

Key Features - Hardware
-
Excellent energy resolution and peak stability combined with high count rate capability of up to 2 Mcps.
-
Communication with the control PC via Ethernt or USB.
-
Data acquisition can be controlled/synchronized via an external trigger signal (TTL).
-
