Live view and measurement
Operate the camera, view live data, define ROIs and run full spectroscopic measurements with PNCamSuite.
PNCamSuite provides an intuitive interface for both live visualisation and data acquisition with pnCCD based Color X-Ray Cameras (CXC).
The Live View mode delivers real-time imaging and spectral feedback for setup, calibration and alignment, while the Measurement mode enables controlled acquisition of complete hyperspectral datasets.
Both modes share a consistent interface, giving users rapid access to camera control, visual feedback and experiment management; whether running a quick check or a long-term acquisition.
Live View
Live View is the central hub for operating and monitoring the camera in real time. Users can activate cooling, adjust acquisition parameters, and directly observe the behaviour of the detector across multiple data representations.

Measurement
Measurement mode provides precise control and monitoring for data acquisition. It enables users to configure experiment parameters, capture data cubes, and visualise results as they accumulate.

Set up and start measurements directly from the control panel

Define titles, number of frames, and input metadata such as sample names or comments

Monitor data acquisition progress from either live view or ongoing measurements

View summed cube images, define spatial and energy ROIs, and generate false-colour maps during acquisition

Configure scanning measurements with custom dwell and pauses (to allow for user actions, like e.g. motor movement) for each position
